Not for the Faint of Heart

I don’t normally work with bright greens, so this piece was a challenge for me.
But I enjoy pushing myself artistically to see where things end up.

This green piece is bright, with complimentary oranges peeking through.
The texture is bold and varied, which created the organic shapes of gold leaf.
The paint's layers look like exposed paint and rust on a metal surface that has been neglected. Despite this feeling of exposure and neglect, the deep green speaks to richness and vibrancy.
