Someone once gave me an amazing and unexpected compliment: "You have a bright and shiny soul"
So this painting is for those with bright, shiny souls -- those who glow from the inside out. The piece was inspired by feeling and emulating that brightness and shininess.
The heavy texture underneath the layers of paint leaves so much for the viewer to discover. This represents the depths of our souls and the layers we all have.
